Schools and GroupsInto Film: Fighting With My Family

We are delighted to be working once again with Into Film which aims to encourage children and young people to see film screenings. The Into Film Festival returns between 6-22 November 2019, bringing you three weeks of engaging film screenings, workshops and special events across the UK and it's all completely FREE! The Festival is a perfect opportunity for teachers, offering easy-to-organise school trips to the cinema, with a specially curated programme supporting a multitude of curriculum subjects, inspiring and ensuring continued learning back in the classroom.

Like many siblings, Norwich teenagers Zak and Saraya Knight enjoy a spirited brawl, performing wrestling moves on each other in their living room. Seeking to follow in the footsteps of their wrestler parents - who promote their own family-run wrestling show in their hometown - the two are thrilled to receive a call from an agent, informing them that he liked their audition tape. Zak and Saraya make the trip down to London for try-outs, in the knowledge that successful candidates will be invited onto the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) development program in Florida. Though Saraya is initially elated when she's offered such an opportunity, she is devastated to learn that her brother won't be joining her, soon realising the sacrifices that are needed to make it in the business. 'Fighting With My Family' is a feel-good comedy about identity, outsiders and following your dreams.

This screening of Fighting With My Family has been given a '12' Certificate and is aimed at the Secondary School level.

The screenings are free to attend but all bookings must be made through the Into Film website:  intofilm.org/festival

Tickets go on sale 5 Sept.
