MusicMalojian with Mandy Bingham Livestream

We are thrilled to welcome back the mighty Malojian led by the incredible songwriter and performer Stevie Scullion. Malojian's sound is original and divine and this is a gig not to be missed. But don't take our word for it - just look at all his array of well-known fans below! Malojian will be supported by the gorgeous sound of Mandy Bingham. Mandy performs alongside her lap steel guitar playing husband Graham Bingham. Together they have developed their unique brand of Folk Noir and Americana leading to the release in 2018 of their debut album, Bury Me Deep. Early in 2020, Mandy opened for Malojian in a series of shows across the UK and is currently collaborating with him on new material due to be released this year. This is a LIVESTREAM gig with live Q&A too - if you've any questions for Stevie or Mandy then email [email protected] and we'll select the best ones.

Over the last few years, Malojian has released 4 stunning solo albums, along the way collaborating with some musical legends, including Steve Albini, who earned his chops producing Nirvana, The Pixies etc. His latest album features Joey Waronker (Beck(link is external)R.E.M.(link is external)Atoms For Peace(link is external)Roger Waters(link is external)), Gerry Love (Teenage Fanclub(link is external)), Jon Thorne (Yorkston/Thorne/Khan(link is external)Lamb(link is external)) and more…But it’s Malojian’s own voice and songs that sets him apart from the crowd. Malojian’s 5th album, which is a collaboration with Grandaddy’s Jason Lytle, is due for release soon.

Cerys Matthews, BBC 6 Music, The Guardian

Absolutely love that…a masterpiece with a strong element of Beatles ’67…that kind of slightly woozy psychedelia…beautiful…

Mandy Bingham

Mandy Bingham’s emotional and compelling debut album, Bury Me Deep, showcases her unique brand of Folk Noir and Americana perfectly. At first listen you could easily be deceived into thinking that Mandy is a downtrodden country girl from south of the Dixie line. In fact, she is the eldest daughter of the acclaimed Northern Irish musician, the late David McWilliams. Mandy pays a moving tribute to her late father by closing her album with a beautiful and heartfelt rendition of his iconic song The Days of Pearly Spencer.
For tonight’s concert Mandy will be joined on lap steel guitar by her husband, Graham.

'Mandy Bingham’s voice is outstandingly beautiful. She has inherited her father’s songwriting skills and talent' - Folk and Tumble
