Scott Flanigan is one of the foremost keyboard players on the Irish jazz scene and this trio brims with class, featuring renowned bassist Dave Redmond and drummer extraordinaire Kevin Brady. Live they perform with real synergy, delivering a mix of standards, classics and new material. Please note this gig will be streamed LIVE as a private event for ticket holders only on our YouTube channel. The recorded live gig will be available to ticket holders for one week after the show.

Scott Flanigan

Scott has shared a stage with the likes of Van Morrison and the Ulster Orchestra, along with jazz heavyweights Rob Luft, Ant Law, Jim Mullen, Jean Toussaint and Dave O’Higgins. Scott is also a recognised composer, with recent commissions from Moving On Music and the PRS Foundation.

Equally at home in academia as well as the bandstand, Scott received his BMus degree from Ulster University and his MMus in Jazz Performance from Dublin Institute of Technology. Scott is currently working on a Ph.D in Jazz Performance at Ulster University, where he is researching, analysing, and synthesising contemporary trends in jazz piano.

Scott is also in demand as a teacher of jazz harmony and improvisation, having delivered workshops across the United Kingdom, and maintains a busy teaching schedule at home in Belfast.

How does this streaming malarkey work then?
