Alcohol licensing at Portico
Many of you will be wondering what’s going on with Portico and alcohol at shows. We decided in January to abandon the raffle system and work towards having a proper alcohol licence for Portico.
That should come through, if we successfully navigate the masses of paperwork, in the early autumn.
Meantime, our friends in the local bars around Portaferry have been providing us with occasional licences which let us serve alcohol at specific shows and we’re very grateful to them, indeed. We will notify you whether there’s going to be alcohol or not at a specific show in our pre-show email that goes out to all attendees.
