So what does that mean?

It means we will be trialling some changes in an effort to improve our impact on the climate. We already do our best to recycle everything we can and we encourage bio-diversity in our grounds through careful planting, but what else could we do?

One key contributor to our carbon footprint at Portico is the use of wine bottles. Glass has a high carbon footprint both in its manufacturing and its transportation. In comparison, wine in boxes has a much lower carbon footprint. So we are going to trial the use of boxed wine instead of using bottles. Let us know what you think by emailing [email protected]
