Driving directions

From Belfast/Newtownards

Take the A20 east through Dundonald and Newtownards. Stay on A20 as it skirts the shores of Strangford Lough, continuing past Grey Abbey, through Kircubbin and finally arriving at Portaferry. When you see a mini roundabout in front of you and the former police station on your right, turn left onto Ann Street. At T-junction with Portaferry High Street turn right. Follow the one-way system past some shops. Look out for the Spar on your right and Arthur's butcher’s shop on the left; turn sharp left into Meetinghouse Street. (If you overshoot turn right immediately, right again, then right again when you see police station.) You will see Portico ahead of you to right with a car parks directly in front of it and across the road from it.

From Newry/Downpatrick

Take the A20 south towards Strangford and follow signs for the ferry, which runs on every hour and half hour until 10.30pm (11pm on Saturdays). On leaving the ferry, turn right along seafront. Take the third left onto Steel Dickson Avenue (signposted Community Centre). Portico is on the left at the top of the hill – follow its railings round to the left and the car parks are on the left or right.
NB ALL CONCERTS ALWAYS FINISH IN PLENTY OF TIME TO CATCH THE LAST FERRY!
